2025 Recap

Since I established ForeBee Consulting in the first quarter of 2025, I didn't know what to expect – whether I would get any business, or if I would enjoy it. Looking back, I'm personally delighted with the variety of work and the difference I've been able to make in the past 10 months.

Working with organisations at very different stages of growth and change has been hugely beneficial in gaining insights across multiple sectors.

From facilitating management strategy sessions and conference discussions, to delivering practical teambuilding for small businesses, the common thread has been helping leaders and teams create clarity and move forward with confidence.

The work has been broad and hands-on: reviewing and strengthening HR policies, carrying out HR business assessments and people strategies, transforming bonus programmes, and supporting IDA grant applications.

I provided mediation support in complex employee relations cases, facilitated both webinars and in-person sessions on modern HR topics – including practical, real-world uses of ChatGPT in HR. A significant highlight for me was the opportunity to work with organisations to assess their readiness for growth from a people perspective, and to work with them to build a multi-year people strategy.

Alongside client work, the Make Your Day initiative has remained a core element of ForeBee Consulting.

This year, that has meant continuing to support Kawaida Care & Feeding Centre in Kenya, while also working more locally within my own community on a campaign that is very close to my heart.

I continued to support various charitable organisations through Board membership and providing ad hoc HR expertise.

Staying connected to purpose and impact beyond the workplace is something I believe strongly in, and it continues to shape how I approach my work with clients.

What stands out for me is the trust clients have placed in me to handle complex, sensitive and business-critical people challenges - and to do so in a way that is practical, grounded and commercially focused.
